A deep dive into literature and what its importance is in our world and in our lives.
Sometimes analyzing pop culture and literature feels aimless and shallow, like it's just adding to the noise of the world. What importance does the written word or any piece of art really have? I seek to analyze media as text in a way that helps us underhand its importance and link it to its impact on our world. I'm often overwhelmed by the ways art shapes AND reflects our viewpoints, empathy, policies, and global consciousness. Let's dive into exactly how this is happening together.
My name is Batoul, I am a certified book worm and lover of reading. Connect with me on my social media pages, and check out my writing as well as other programs I am starting like the Virtual Study Hall and soon coming Consciousness Raising Circles.
A big aim of mine for this blog is accessibility so while I am trying to do my own research on how to do this, if you personally need something to make this blog accessible please let me know what I can do! I have tried to use sans serif fonts, keep high contrast between the text and backgrounds, and include image descriptions. Please let me know if I can do anything else.
